According to the National Association of Realtors, 49% of agents state that staging does affect the way that buyers view a property. 77% of agents say that staging helps buyers view the property as their own, which is an important aspect of drawing them in.
A good first step to staging your home is to clean and declutter it. Clean it out and get it as empty as possible to make it look bigger and more open.
Focus on the three most important rooms in the house: the family room, master bedroom, and kitchen.
Next, make sure that all of your bulbs are clean and in working order and that your light fixtures look presentable. Also, pull back the curtains and blinds and let in the natural light.
You’ll also want to consider removing or rearranging some of your furniture pieces and make sure that they highlight the space of the room.
