Len was born in Illinois but has spent much of his adult life living in other states, including Arizona, California, Texas, South Carolina, Maryland, and Tennessee. He understands the complexities and anxieties that are often involved in moving great distances. He has a wide-ranging background in construction, remodeling, information technology, telecommunications, and military intelligence. He most recently worked for seven years as a high school physics and math teacher at a small Christian school in Illinois.
Len served as a linguist in the US Navy for five years, working at sea and on shore in various intelligence contexts. He gained skills in leadership and teamwork unique to the armed forces and brings them to bear when serving buyers and sellers. He subsequently attended the University of Illinois at Chicago, earning a bachelor’s degree in Russian.
Len entered the real estate world to help others through what is often a very difficult process—buying or selling a home. He’s been through that process and knows how hard it can be. He enjoys helping people define and manage their expectations, while working hard to meet those expectations at every level.
Len is married and lives in Clinton, Tennessee. He enjoys driving and riding his motorcycle on East Tennessee’s amazing roads or going off road in the state’s amazing wilderness areas, either hiking, running, riding his mountain bike, or driving his Jeep. He is involved in several local groups that serve the community as well as his local church.
